Welcome!

Dear Colleagues:
It is an honor to invite you again to our next XX International Seminar on Amebiasis 2023 during October 24th to 28th, in this occasion at the city of Mérida, Yucatán in Mexico.
Mérida was founded on January 6th in 1542 on top of the Mayan vestiges by Francisco de Montejo, who named it "Mérida the ancient pre-Hispanic city". Mérida reflects its ancestral heritage and combines it with a growing modernity, making this city a unique place to enjoy.
After the interruption of our seminar due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we want to offer you an inclusive, updated academic program of excellence, dedicated to the scientific community in the study of amoebiasis, as well as the study of other protists of importance to humans and their related areas, come together to disseminate, discuss, and share scientific knowledge within their area.
Our academic program will consist of master class conferences given by national and international colleagues who are leaders in their field, specialized conferences, oral presentations and poster sessions, which will cover different topics. We look forward to your enthusiastic participation and together, researchers, academics and students, to promote the advances of scientific knowledge in the field of amebiasis.
We invite you to be part of this experience!
